THE DM Print & Mail Company joins the Plant a Million Trees Campaign

Planting millions of new trees across the globe is one of the ways that is going to help to protect and enhance our planet. On a global scale, the use of paper has increased, despite the electronic revolution and the once-promised paperless office.

DMPM this week announced that it is the first mailing company to sign up to the Million Tree Campaign.

For every order placed by a client, no matter how big or small one tree will be planted.

DMPM Marketing Director, Garry Miller, said: "All of us these days are very conscious about the effects of our actions on the planet, and we take steps at home and at work to reduce the impact that we make as individuals. Our industry is unavoidably not as environmentally friendly as other industries, we print and mail and this uses our planet's natural resources. Therefore, anything that we can do to counter-balance some of negative effect has to be in the forefront of our considerations.

I am really excited by this new idea and I'm looking forward to seeing the results of our work. We may only contribute in a small way to the million trees, but it's great to know that we are part of something bigger as well."

The Plant a Tree campaign is only one of many initiatives being undertaken by the company. The company already use recycled and recyclable paper and bio-degradable products wherever possible as well as re-cycling as much as possible

Every client who places an order with DMPM will receive a certificate saying how many trees have been planted on their behalf. News of trees planted will be publicised on their website regularly.
